In its latest guise, the Citroën Dispatch offers more comfort, more choice and more convenience than ever before. Available in three lengths, its maximum 6.6 cubic metres of load volume can accommodate up to 1,400kg of cargo, and it can pull a trailer of up to 2.5 tonnes too.
Two models are available to meet your specific needs. The Worker Version is tailored towards those carrying equipment and crew across a range of terrains, and comes with raised suspension and Grip Control, as well as three seats in the front and the Moduwork platform, which provides extra load length via a fold-up side passenger seat.
The Driver Version, meanwhile, is ideal for long-distance trips or urban deliveries, offering extras such as the Citroën Connect Nav with seven-inch touchscreen, Park Assist Pack and blind spot monitoring.
The Citroën Dispatch not only carries your cargo securely, it acts as a mobile office too, providing an adjustable writing table to make paperwork easier and USB socket for charging devices. You can also opt for a smartphone holder with integrated power supply, meaning you’ll have everything you need at your fingertips.
The Citroën Connect Nav system is available according to the Dispatch model you choose and incorporates 3D navigation which can be controlled by the seven-inch tablet or voice recognition. With services such as TomTom Traffic, you can get real-time traffic information, fuel prices at petrol stations in the area and more.
The Dispatch’s BlueHDi engine comes in several variants, offering up to 180hp and fitted with Stop&Start technology to reduce emissions, improve fuel economy and minimise running costs. A six-speed manual gearbox comes as standard on most versions, while the 180hp option is paired with Citroën’s innovative EAT8 automatic transmission, which provides smooth shifts.
Supporting every drive is a host of safety features, which collaborate to ensure every journey – whether fully laden or light on the load – is protected. Depending on the trim and version, your Citroën Dispatch offers traffic sign recognition, which helps you stay within the speed limits, Active Safety Brake, which helps you to avoid colliding with obstacles in your path, and automatic high beam, which switches between dipped and full beam headlights at night, depending on the traffic.
