Warrington Foodbank receives £1,750

Warrington Foodbank is in receipt of £1,750 from Toyota's Community Fund, having been nominated by our dealership team in recognition of the work that they do.

This funding will allow the facilities to be refurbished to a standard that will ensure a purpose-designed cafe area promoting self-esteem so that visitors are not left standing around whilst waiting for service.

It all started with a conversation between Bentleys MD, Carl Baldwin, and David McDonald at the Foodbank which led to the team wanting to be involved in some small way.

The Warrington Foodbank has been delivering services to the community for 7 years and during this period has seen a substantial increase in visitors from 32 to 145 per week.

The Warrington Foodbank in 2017/2018 provided food which equated to 46,000 meals of which 35% went to children.
